These little guys are made from recycled horseshoes, every one of those shoes was worn and used by a horse, their mane/tail is of old bed springs, or recycled fence wire and/or horseshoe nails.

These are not "flimsy" horses, I use a double layer of the shoe for their head, neck and body so they are quite hefty and strong.
